  • Yes. An initial telephone discussion allows us to understand your situation and explain whether we can assist. Where more detailed advice is required, a formal, paid consultation may be recommended. 

  • We will give you honest and realistic advice based on your circumstances, the evidence available and the relevant immigration rules.  No solicitor can guarantee an outcome in immigration matters. Where a case is weak or unsuitable, you will be advised accordingly. 

  • Processing times vary depending on the type of application and the Home Office.  Some applications are decided within months, while others can take significantly longer. We will advise you on likely timescales, but decisions are ultimately outside our control. 

  • Yes. We regularly advise clients whose applications have been refused. We can assess: 

    • Whether a decision can be challenged 

    • Whether an appeal is available 

    • Whether a fresh application is more appropriate 

    Not all refusals should be appealed, and you will be advised honestly about your options. 

  • This depends on the type of application and your personal circumstances.  We will advise you clearly on: 

    • What documents are required 

    • How evidence should be prepared 

    • Any weaknesses or gaps that need to be addressed 

    Careful preparation of evidence is critical in immigration matters. 

  • Costs depend on the complexity and type of work involved. 

    We will discuss fees with you before work begins and explain how costs are structured. Where possible, fee ranges or fixed fees may be offered. 

  • No. Home Office fees, the Immigration Health Surcharge and other third-party costs are separate from our legal fees. Any likely disbursements will be explained to you in advance. 

  • In some cases, payment arrangements may be agreed. This will depend on the nature of the work and must be discussed before proceeding. 

  • All matters are handled personally by Farhad Ahmed, a solicitor qualified since 2007. You will not be passed between multiple fee earners. 

  • Yes. We aim to keep clients informed of progress and advise promptly of any developments or requests from the Home Office or Tribunal. 

  • It is important that you inform us immediately of any changes to your circumstances. Changes can affect immigration applications and may require further advice or action. 

  • Yes. We advise employers on sponsor licences, Skilled Worker visas and related business immigration matters. 

    This service is suited to organisations seeking solicitor-led, compliant immigration support.
